Here at BOA, we believe there is no single way to find the dress, in that no two brides, love stories or figures are the same.
What is always consistent is the experience; we are thoughtful, unhurried, design led, individually focused, and deeply personal. Each appointment is a one-on-one consultation with an in-house BOA designer where we focus our full attention, expertise and creativity on you, and only you.
We have four ways in which we work in providing our brides with the optimal experience for their budget, timeframe and design desires, each tailored to meet you exactly where you are in your bridal journey.
1. Try On and Fall in Love
For the bride who finds “the one” — just as it is
Some dresses don’t need changing. They simply need the right bride.
In this experience, you will try on a curated selection of BOA gowns, designed in-house. With expert design and styling guidance, we help you discover the silhouette, fabric, and details that feel unmistakably you.
Should you find your dream dress as we have intentionally designed it, your measurements are taken, your mock-up gown is ordered having been crafted to your measurements, ensuring a refined and considered fit.
This option is perfect for brides who want a unique gown without altering the original design — timeless, intentional, and beautifully executed.
What this experience includes:
- A private consultation with a BOA designer
- Professional styling and silhouette guidance
- Selection from BOA’s exclusive gown collection
- Made-to-measure production and all inclusive price

2. Customise an Existing BOA Design
For the bride who loves our design — but wants to make it uniquely hers
This is the BOA signature experience. Sometimes the dress is almost perfect — it just needs a few thoughtful changes.
This experience begins with one of our existing BOA designs, which we then refine together. Whether it’s adjusting the neckline, adding sleeves, changing fabric textures, or reworking proportions, we customise select design elements to better suit your vision, body, and wedding aesthetic.
This option offers the best of both worlds: the confidence of a proven design, paired with personalised details that make it uniquely yours.
What this experience includes:
- A one-on-one consultation with a BOA designer
- Selection of a base BOA gown
- Customisation of chosen design elements
- Design guidance, fabric advice, and made-to-measure production
- All inclusive price tag

3. Fully Custom Design
For the bride who wants something no one else will ever wear
From an inspiration page to a finished gown, your dress is designed entirely from your ideals and concepts in collaboration with our in-house designers. We take time to understand your story, your wedding, your style, assess what you’ve tried, what you like and don’t like, what works with your frame, and how you want to feel — then translate that into a gown together that exists nowhere else.
We do not tell you what to wear, this is a collaborative process that invites you and your experience into the journey. With you, for you.
Every line, fabric choice, and detail is intentional. This process is immersive, creative, and deeply personal — resulting in a gown that is unmistakably yours.

4. Off-the-Rack
For the bride working with a shorter timeframe or defined budget
Not every bridal journey begins months or years in advance — and that’s okay.
Our Off-the-Rack experience is designed for brides with tighter timeframes (generally within five months of their wedding) and budgets under $4,500 who are seeking a BOA gown without the lead time of made-to-order or custom design.
In this experience, you will try on a curated selection of ready-to-wear BOA gowns available in-store. Once selected, your gown is purchased as-is, with only minor design changes possible. Alterations are focused primarily on fit — ensuring the gown feels polished, comfortable, and confident for your wedding day.
This option is ideal for brides who value beautiful design and quality craftsmanship, while needing a more immediate solution.
What this experience includes:
A private consultation with a BOA designer
Selection from available off-the-rack BOA gowns
Minor changes where feasible
Fitting alterations to refine the fit
Important to note:
Off-the-rack gowns are limited to current in-store availability
Design changes are minimal and not structural

Every BOA bride leaves with clarity, confidence, and expert advice — and many leave with a gown that feels like it was always meant to be theirs.
